My name is Ann Wolta Blackstone, and I am an LPGA Teaching Professional and the SGCC Junior Golf Director. I am married, the mother of two children and have a new baby granddaughter.
My golf journey began at the age of 10. Growing up in Arizona, I played competitively in both junior and high school girls’ golf, winning the Arizona State Girls Golf Tournament. I received a scholarship and continued to play competitively on the Arizona State University Women’s Golf Team. After graduation, I moved to Colorado and became an LPGA Teaching Professional and have been teaching men, women and juniors for over 42 years. During that time, I achieved the highest status in the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division as a Class A/Life Teaching Professional.
My golf career has many milestone moments:
* First LPGA Teaching Professional at Meadow Hills GC – 1983-1993
* Director of the LPGA Girls Golf Club in Denver – 1993-1997
* Head Golf Professional @ Golf for Her – 1993
