The snack shack attendant must be at least 15 years old and have the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner. This position requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions as well as the ability to lift/push objects weighing 30 lbs. An attendant must have the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, as well as converse comfortably with customers. Cash handling and customer service experience preferred but not required. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the General Manager.
-Attendants are responsible for completing customer transactions, cleaning the food and stock areas, maintaining inventory, as well as performing any other responsibilities as directed by management.
– Greet customers, provide information and take food orders
-Operate cash register and receive payment from customer in cash or credit and provide change when necessary.
-Moves, lifts and restocks food and beverage products and supplies.
– Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products.
-Clean and sanitizes work station, equipment and lobby area.
