A front desk receptionist is responsible for providing superior customer service to members and guests, conducting facility tours as well as receiving and directing phone calls. Front desk personnel also monitor access to the club, handle cash/ credit card transactions, and event registration. Applicants must be at least 16 years old with a high school education. Customer service experience is a plus but not required. This is a variable hour position with hours being days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Front desk personnel may be required to sit or stand for periods of time, with bending, crouching and twisting occasionally required. This position reports to the front desk supervisor and general manager.
-Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
-Able to perform multiple functions and handle customers at the same time.
-Be highly motivated and able to take direction as well as work productively without constant supervision.
-Able to handle cash/credit accurately and provide change when necessary
-Maintain a clean work area as well as assisting in maintaining overall cleanliness of the lobby.
