The Men’s Golf Association is limited to male members of the club who are at least 18 years old. Play begins in April and meets every Wednesday afternoon through September. To accommodate most men, three start times are offered: 2pm, 4pm and 6pm, during which the course is closed to the general membership. Men’s club members can play in any or all of these start times. Soft drinks and snacks are offered as well as different games such as closest to the pin, longest putt, etc. Traditionally, the Men’s Club sponsors three tournaments: The Greenfield Memorial, the Tournament of Net Champions, and the Year-End Championship Tournament/Banquet.
The Women’s Golf Association is limited to female members of the club who are at least 18 years old. Play begins in April and meets every Wednesday morning through September. Two start times are offered: 7:30am and 9:30am; the course is closed to the general membership until noon. Women’s club members can play in either or both of these start times. Coffee and snacks are offered as well as different themes such as “three clubs and a putter”. Traditionally, the Women’s Club sponsors three special events: Guest Day, the Year-End Championship Tournament/Banquet, and the Putt Club party.
LOTE (Ladies of Tuesday Evening) Golf
For those women who can’t play on Wednesday mornings, an informal group meets every Tuesday evening at 6pm beginning in April.
This group is for adult couples (married and non-married). Beginning in May, they meet every other Sunday afternoon from 1–4pm, at which time the course is closed to general membership. Drinks and snacks are offered and the season ends in August with the MacSween Tournament and Banquet.
